SpeedQueen, as the name suggests, is a DJ that has experienced a fast, meteoric rise to success over the past couple of years. Arriving on the Sydney dance scene in 2018, she has established herself as a premium spinner behind the decks as well as one of the region’s best live streaming artists on any platform.

She is not a passing trend. Nor a throwaway fad. She is the real deal. She is fully immersed in club culture by virtue of her upbringing in Leeds (UK) which is a foundational hub for House-heads in the North of England. From those early, earthy sounds of UK House, she moved to Australia to further develop her skills on an unsuspecting audience. In fact the name SpeedQueen comes from her favourite weekly event in the late 90's!

Never giving up on her passion, she has emerged to become a talent that is capable of throwing it down with the best of them. Influenced by Purple Disco Machine, Seamus Haji and Marshal Jefferson amongst others, her sets are a fusion of Classic, Disco and Jackin’ House. She embraces the dancefloor with her love of music and intuitively understands what her audience needs to accompany them on their journey.

Her hard work has been rewarded as she is now regularly booked by Sydney’s premier promoters to support acts such as Basement Jaxx, Jaimie Jones, Franky Rizardo, Route 94, Amine Edge & DANCE and Mat.Joe. She has also secured weekly residences on Bondi Beach Radio, Arcadia @ HiWay and Sydney House Heads, so her star is shining ever brighter.

Her live Mixcloud show continues to go from strength to strength, so expect her to take over our electrical devices soon as we begin to live our lives in the virtual world. She is also venturing into the production studio where her unique talents are beginning to deliver results. There are several releases in the immediate pipeline which will only further enhance her incredible reputation.
